Amigo is just a social network application that enables users to generate specific and team pages and satisfy folks from their college. Co founders Paa Adu and Sophia Huard stated they wished to provide students a somewhat more normal university experience than what they’re experiencing into the pandemic. Sophie and I also came across because we lived across the street to each other,” Adu said. “So, we had been thinking like, вЂDang, we would have not met if we weren’t in the dorms.’” The Stanford alumni began focusing on Amigo in August and launched it on Stanford’s campus Dec. 4. Now, Amigo can be offered by the University of Ca Berkeley, Cornell University, the University of Michigan and Ohio State, and intends to keep expanding.
“We’ve seen interest from pupils from Africa and Australia, thus I think really, there’s a significance of something like Amigo across campuses all escort Lakeland around the globe,” Adu said.
Amigo boasts very nearly 2,500 packages from the very first five schools, Adu said, while the engagement is constant, with users returning to the application and socializing daily.
