Summary: Section 3
The marriage is a huge, joyful affair, but 2 months after, Janie check outs Nanny to ask for pointers; she fears that she will never ever love Logan. Nanny berates Janie for perhaps not appreciating Logan’s wealth and position. She sends Janie on her method, once more telling the girl that, in time, she will establish thinking for Logan. After Janie departs, Nanny prays to goodness to look after Janie, stating that she, Nanny, has done best that she could. Per month afterwards, she dies. Per year goes, and Janie still seems no fascination with Logan and becomes further disillusioned.
Overview: Part 4
Logan pampers Janie considerably and attempts to have the lady to do manual work, claiming that she’s spoiled. Eventually, he departs buying the next mule to ensure that Janie can your are employed in the areas. While Logan is getting the mule, Janie spies a good-looking, greatly dressed complete stranger ambling in the future. She captures their eye and flirts a while with him; their name’s Joe Starks, a smooth-tongued, fashionable guy with grand dreams. He tells this lady that he is from Georgia, which he have secured a lot of cash, and this he has come down to Fl to go to a different community that will be getting built and manage by blacks.
